Puzzle Palooza-Thankful for Puzzles!

12:30-2:30pm, Teams of 2 adults (or kids 10+ welcome!) – $40/team

Feast your eyes on this: puzzles, prizes, and a perfectly chill pre-Thanksgiving event! Thankful for Puzzles is your chance to team up and race against others to complete a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle. Bring your team, and your competitive spirit! Compete for bragging rights, win prizes, and enjoy some fall fun—no turkey prep required. Divisions will be grouped by skill, with unique challenges or advantages to level the playing field. Teams keep their event puzzle.

In addition to puzzle race, the Cottage Grove Parks & Rec will host a free community Puzzle Swap. No registration needed for the swap—just bring quality puzzles to trade and refresh your collection.

Puzzle Palooza-A Wicked Puzzle Race

10:30am-12:00pm, Teams of 2, (or kids 10+ welcome!) – $42/team

Grab your puzzle posse and race against the clock in a spellbinding showdown of strategy, speed, and sass. This isn’t your grandma’s jigsaw puzzle event. Teams will go broom-to-broom in a thrilling timed challenge to complete a 275-350 piece puzzle before the clock runs out. Whether you're a puzzling enchantress or just here for the fall vibes, this event has everything: thrills, laughs, and a touch of witchy attitude—this is your chance to stir the pot, throw some shade, and test off your puzzling powers. Divisions will be created by skill level, with playful challenges or advantages to keep things interesting.

Spring is all about fresh starts, creativity, and growth—just like the puzzles we’ve got lined up for you! Join the fun, embrace the friendly competition, and soak in the season of blooms, sunshine, and—of course—hats!

    Rock your favorite hat and earn an extra entry for our awesome door prize drawing! Prizes for 1st-3rd place.  Whether you’re a puzzle pro or a newbie, we’ve got a spot for you!

    Teams of two will race against the clock to complete a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle before the competition does. Prizes awarded to the top three fastest teams!  Every team gets to keep their puzzle as a souvenir.  This event is open to Adults (age 16+).  Register early to secure your spot! Team captains can sign up now and finalize their team later. Please note: Admission to the Dane County Fair is required and must be purchased separately online (www.danecountyfair.com) or at the event entrance.  The puzzle event is inside the Exhibition Hall with air conditioning.

    Teams of four will race against the clock to complete a 350-piece family puzzle before the competition does.  Teams are for ages 5+ and must include at least one adult and one child.  Only the registered teammates of 4 will be allowed on the competition floor.  Prizes awarded to the top three fastest teams!  Every team gets to keep their puzzle as a souvenir.  Register early to secure your spot! Team captains can sign up now and finalize their team later. The puzzle event is inside and in the air conditioning.  Please note: Admission to the Dane County Fair is required and must be purchased separately online (www.danecountyfair.com) or at the event entrance.  The puzzle event is inside the Exhibition Hall with air conditioning.

    Have you been curious about trying a puzzle race?  Grab a friend and put your skills to the test in this exciting 275-350 piece jigsaw showdown! Teams of two will race against each other to see who can complete the puzzle the fastest, competing against other first-time puzzlers in a friendly, exciting atmosphere. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! Plus, every team gets to keep their puzzle as a souvenir.  Team captains can register early to secure a spot and find a teammate in the coming weeks.  Please note: Admission to the Dane County Fair is required and must be purchased separately online (www.danecountyfair.com) or at the event entrance.  The puzzle event is inside the Exhibition Hall with air conditioning.
